March 20th, 2006 at 10:45 am e The Bunny is not getting overwhelmed over there is he? Asides from maintaining the website, and work obligations, you getting anxious with Easter around the corner?! Its a Bunny’s life…
    2. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 10:51 am e I actually have big expectations for the Debacle Week. It could be me, what with my scattered absence last week, but much is to be discussed. We’re nearing the Anniversary of DIII: The Return of the Debacle, the Canuck vs Leafs Playoff Bust is heating up, and Bizerko throw-back emails are stirring past Debaclian passions…Fantastic Stuff if you ask me.
    3. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 11:27 am e Would you not be pissed if you were Cowboys fan and you just signed Terrell Owens…wasn’t this guy only a few years ago treading on the Cowboy Star? That’s the equivalent of the Debacle Nation bringing on board the 10yr old girls we once battled. Is there no shame anymore…
    4. Bunny Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 12:15 pm e Wow. The anniversary of my Debacle Debut. Does that mean that it’s the anniversary of the demise of Franco, as well?
    5. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 12:28 pm e Does that mean its official, Franco no more? I was always holding out for another chance…you know, the next time Reid has an inkling for kidnapping.
    6. Bizerko Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 12:37 pm e Those 10 year old’s from Ottawa are probably 13 by now. Another two, three years they may be ready for a Debacle.
    7. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 12:38 pm e Night at the Roxbury is on City right now. That movie is unwatchable. Really, really bad.
    8. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 12:41 pm e A big night for Leaf Nation. Sittler, McDonald, Horton…..Kilger?!?! How is it possible that the Leaf with the most goals 5 on 5 is Chad Kilger. That stat makes me want to kill myself. The most dangerous Leaf is a guy who’s cleared waivers multiple times in his career. Ridiculous.
    9. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 12:44 pm e I have a feeling that we haven’t seen the last of Franco. Perhaps a he’ll be back for the VH1 Behind the Music retrospective in a couple years. He’s like the fifth Beatles. Bad decision. Nobody ever remembers Pete Best.
    10. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 12:50 pm e This just in…Night at the Roxbury is Hospon AND the Bunny’s Favourite Movie…the “Breakfast Clubber himself”. It all goes back to the Roxbury.
    11. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 12:52 pm e I don’t know if I’m the Justin Timberlake of the group. But there’s little doubt which one of us is Lance “Bizerko” Bass. One night a guy in the Cabin kept refering to Sean as a “Chubby version of Lance Bass”. Hilarious. I thought he was going to go all pummler on his ass.
    12. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 12:52 pm e I’m definately intrigued by the Leafs/Canucks playoff battle here. It’s almost better they’re in different conferences b/c the misery almost parallels each other…
    13. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 12:56 pm e So a big week for the nation. Matt gets his “unclage” a second time over and can now set his sights on Hopson’s total of 13. Birthdays for the Ottawa chapter and for the occasional Debacle participant know only as W. Big things to come.
    14. Bunny Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 12:56 pm e How can you say Night at the Roxbury is a bad movie?? I was like..EMILIO!!! The Mighty Duck Man.
    15. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 1:01 pm e Many things to come this week indeed Reid, including my Ultimate Debacle Proposal: We all quit our jobs and do a European Debacle? The details are still in the “beginning” stages, but by Thursday I should have something concrete. This idea comes mainly from the fact we’re all either unemployed, overwhelmed, or by trait, slacker material. It would make for a great Debacle…
    16. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 1:03 pm e Yeah so I was doing that Computer Camp thing last week…a High School Student was quoting the Mighty Duck Man speech…pretty much nailed the Hopson-level of Movie Appreciation.
    17. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 1:09 pm e I’m digusted with Matt’s total abandonment of Leaf Nation. It’s like he grew up in Africa or something. How can anyone from the 905 have such a hatred for the Leafs all the while still maintaining his allegiance to all things Raptor? And while we’re on the subject, 5 Ottawa Senators in the pool Matt? Harold Ballard must be rolling over in his grave. You should be disqualified from the pool based on principal. I can understand picking up Heatley or Redden. But loading up on Sens? When did this transformation take place? Was it in Ottawa? I seem to remember you dancing around Brewer’s in your blue and white. Perhaps it was in Virginia or maybe Eastern Europe? Nothing good ever came from Eastern Europe? Whatever happened we want the old Matt back. The Matt who marvelled at the playoff success of Nickoli Borchevsky. The Matt who could recite to you year by year Doug Gilmour’s career point totals. The Matt who could look at a line of Osbourne, Olchyk, and Leeman and see the Stanley Cup potential. Matt come home.
    18. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 1:11 pm e Box office blunder for $1000. What is any movie staring Chris Katan?
    19. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 1:12 pm e This movie make me think Will Ferrel is finished in Hollywood.
    20. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 1:13 pm e Ahh Reid, this homerun swing of yours is heading to the fences…will it convince me to turn to the darkside…no. But I will take the opportunity to give my revised Leaf perspective. I’ll grab a coffee than its over, like Franco Over.
    21. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 1:14 pm e The Ultimate Debacle premise is an intriguing one. I see problems with getting Borutskie to cross an ocean. I couldn’t get the guy to meet me at St Laurent.
    22. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 1:17 pm e For those of you unfamiliar with O-Town, St. Laurent is a street about 11km away from Borutskie’s house. Sean The Immovable Object.
    23. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 1:22 pm e It says here that if the bunny still resided in Ontario we would have had 7 or 8 Debacles by now. That’s what we’re missing. The enthusiasm of the young bunny. Sure it’s still there in glimpses. But his overall impact in lessened by his geographical location. The same could be said for Seb. By the way, I applaude Seb’s take no prisoners approach to courting. I’m waiting patiently to hear the WHOLE story behind this mysterious vixen.
    24. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 1:28 pm e That Fisher injury from last week really looked bad. How many centermen can the Sens lose before their season is officially declared over. I like Tyler Arnason and everything but I don’t see him replacing Havlat, Fisher, and Hasek.
    25. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 1:30 pm e Ray Emery’s killing me in the pool. 9-1-1 since the olympics. The good news is after back to back pitiful performances by Abeicher the Christobal Huet era should begin once again in Montreal.
    26. Bunny Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 1:50 pm e You want enthusiasm!?!?! Meet me in Calgary for the Stmapede. Ever seen a drunk bunny riding a bull?
    27. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 1:57 pm e I was talking to my bro yesterday about the Stampede. I all but confirmed that a bunch of drunken idiots were going to show up at his door. Almost booked a flight over the weekend. $500 return. Could the bunny be the official mascot of the 2006 Stampede? I don’t see why not.
    28. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 2:06 pm e We haven’t even mentioned the Carleton 4-peat. It seems like we’re not the only ones looking for one for the thumb.
    29. Bunny Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 2:10 pm e The Clown must make an appearance, as well.
    30. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 2:48 pm e Do you think the Clown could survive a night in the bar? And would that be like a free pass to act like a total bar jerk?…What would you expect from a clown in a bar, there’s almost no way that gets through…unless…they let the first guy wearing a bunny outfit through…
    31. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 2:49 pm e I was riding the subway this weekend in Toronto and I had a great Debacle Vision…it all started when a 30+ year old dude was wearing the worst green track suit I’ve ever seen in my life. Sure he was dressed for the StPatricks Day parade, but it was simply awful attire for a grown man…simply great for a Debacle, coloured track suits? Debacle V: Team Debacle
    32. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 2:51 pm e Yeah and its pretty much a given that had the Bunny been living in Ontario we’d be on Debacle XII. I’m wondering how we can organize two Debacles during his summer visit…that doesn’t even account for the mandatory 6 month silent recovery period.
    33. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 2:53 pm e Somewhere deep down, a former Carleton Football player is crying…ThEy CuT tHe FoOtBaLl PrOgRaM for ThIs BaSkEtBalL tEaM?!#
    34. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 3:16 pm e Had another addiction fed Tim Hortons Coffee…So here are my Leaf Thoughts Reid. It was true that I was a born Maple Leaf fan. I remember the glory days of Dougie Gilmour & Pat Burns. I remember when they went through a string of goalies including Allan Bester, Mark Laforest, Peter Ing…and Ken Wregget with his cutting edge Blue equipment. Heck, I remember attending a Maple Leaf game back in the 80s when the Championship Flames beat the Leafs 10-1 (if you haven’t noticed, the Flames won a Cup, struggled for years, rebuilt themselves, and have since made it to Game 7 of another Finals). So its true, at some point I gave up rooting for the Buds. Buts its one thing cheering for the hometeam when a fan could be considered a part of it (buying tickets, jerseys, stupid $7 collector cards). But in recent years, the community feeling of fans has eroded. They have exclusive games on their Private Network, they sell tickets in the hundreds of dollars, they buy and sell players without remorse. Leaf season ticket holders are now forced into buying into the Craptors, they have a rediculous Maple Leaf residence building, and they have multi-million dollar plans to build a soccer stadium. So where and when does my position as a fan get taken into consideration? They obviously don’t need my money yet they’re obviously interested in maximizing profit and fan spending. They are a corporation, driven to succeed in the marketplace, interested in winning, but most importantly, a corporation. It has been 5 years in the making…the face of the organization has drastically changed. Remember this team in the Gardens? Can’t compare that team to the franchise being run at the ACC. At some point, they might finally get things together to win a Championship. And you know what, I think I would one day reserve the right to join the parade should they win. I spent almost twenty years cheering and supporting this franchise, I gave up when they gave up on maintaining a devoted Leaf fan base…Compare this situation to the Senators, night and day. (Somehow, I wish I could have broken this up into 3 different postings…and yes, I’m having a fantastic work day!)
    35. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 3:43 pm e Nothing gets the blood flowing like an Edwards vs. MLSE scenario. He’s like a jilted lover, wishing he could have the last 20 years back.
    36. Adrock Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 3:51 pm e I made some bold hockey pool moves today. I’ll either overtake Matt or be fighting Hopson for 7th by week’s end.
    37. Bunny Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 3:57 pm e I think I’m in the same boat, Adrock. I made a ballsy trade. We’ll see how it works for me.
    38. Bunny Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 3:58 pm e Can you imagine the Bunny in a matching tracksuit?!? Complete with DIV headbands! (you guys better still have them!
    39. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 8:34 pm e I really hope the track suit idea takes off. You know, we could all adopt the Official Debacle Colours OR go it alone by claiming our own seperate identity…the potential there would be unreal.
    40. The Sanity Says:
March 20th, 2006 at 8:38 pm e Figured I was going to the Rock game this weekend with the regular cast of characters, but alas, Reid is taking a lady? Abandoning the season tickets for more exclusive club seats? So while I continue to be heckled for my “track record” this year (more along the win/loss column), let it be known that this is the second time, out of four chances, my participation with the Rock group is tainted with G’Bombinitus. What happens now that its an afternoon game as well? Why wasn’t this information included in the fine print!?
    41. Sebby Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 7:01 am e As for Debacle over the ocean: Matt you can do some scouting. And hell if it is over the ocean, it might have to be “Debacle On Tour” with stops in various cities…
    42. Sebby Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 8:00 am e And by the way, I have concluded that the take no prisoners approach doesn’t work – in the heat of the moment you forget something important only to kick yourself in the head repeatedly afterwards for forgetting…
    43. Adrock Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 8:03 am e Unlike Borutskie’s sister the hockey pool is tight! 260 points seperating the top 5 teams. Parity.
    44. Adrock Says:
      March 21st, 2006 at 8:04 am e I call red track suit.
    45. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 8:07 am e Reid, certainly increasing the Borutskie rips these days…that one may have crossed the line. Ouch.
    46. Adrock Says:
      March 21st, 2006 at 8:14 am e I didn’t say which sister……
    47. Adrock Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 8:27 am e What kind of universe do we live in where talking about your friend’s sister’s vagina is crossing the line?
    48. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 8:32 am e On another topic, I think the End of the Leafs came when they traded….Mike Eastwood. Loved that guy. Who was the other young grinder in the late 90s trying to crack the team, they had Kevyn Adams (now an Assistant Captain in Carolina) adn some other guy…I can’t remember!? Remember Kent Manderville, he was my favourite too…Actually, I’m starting to think the Pat Quinn factor is just kicking in these days in Maple Leaf Nation. Vancouver wasn’t exactly growing when Quinn left that job. I can’t even remember who coached before Qunn…it wasn’t Mike Murphy or Mike Kitchen was it?! Ughh…
    49. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 8:33 am e For Hockey Pool Followers, I have 5 Senators going tonight…and they play the Penguins! That is my kind of Universe.
    50. B to the Zerko Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 10:19 am e Has Quinn ever won a Cup? Ahh, Reid, now that he’s getting better, it can be time to go all bizerko on him…Seb, I just got back from Physio, and the girl that I had looked exactly, or almost like, our favourite girl – and she went to Queen’s…
    51. Sebby Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 10:41 am e Oh man… that’s sweet. I say you go all out on that one. A “take no prisoners” approach would be wise. You can’t let something like that walk away without at least an attempt…
    52. B to the Zerko Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 11:34 am e Tonight, I may cheer for the Leafs – take out the Canes, and if the Sens win, that much more distance between ourselves…are the Leafs going to make the playoffs, that is the question..
    53. JHO Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 11:41 am e hey did we get $500K just added to our hockey pool account balance as I do not recall having that extra cash?
    54. Bunny Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 12:17 pm e Don’t you think the Penguins are due for a win tonight?? Man, that would be priceless!
    55. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 12:22 pm e Oh Bunny, you crazy. The Penguins beat the Canadians last week despite being outshot 1,054 to 7. That lone victory pretty much takes care of them for the rest of the season…
    56. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 12:23 pm e Reid still never mentioned the Rock situation…perhaps those less than friendly sister jokes were an attempt to avoid Saturday? With an early game, wouldn’t the Peel Pub be an ideal option?
    57. JHO Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 12:24 pm e I love the tracksuit idea, but I also have a few forseeable problems. If Headbands cost us $40, how much will tracksuits cost? Definitely need to hire a new buyer and re-source a new supplier.
    58. JHO Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 12:25 pm e yeah reid do we still have an xtra ticket?
    59. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 12:30 pm e Hungarian Horvath in a tracksuit might be killer…Hungarian Horvath buying bulk tracksuits, double killer.
    60. Adrock Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 12:35 pm e Apparently the Amanda will be taking the xtra ticket. Although I’m worried that confirmation of said fact is taking a little longer than normal. I was unable to get ticks right behind the Rock U crowd but we’re in the same section 3 rows back and to the left. Close enough for my chant of Hopson to resinate and Matt should still be able to feel my penetrating eyes everytime Calgary scores.
    61. Adrock Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 12:38 pm e Isn’t Saturday Keg day? Where’s my $3.00 prime rib? Or are you just sick of it by now Jeff. Got a hankering for some kd?
    62. The Sanity Says:
      March 21st, 2006 at 12:40 pm e What?!# Another G’Bomb Night?!$ What the Hell the Happened HeRe…
    63. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 12:41 pm e Don’t you guys take the G’Bombs to movies or go for walks once and a while?! Geez, Jocelyn & I are planning to have a nice romantic grocery shop this week, it pretty much takes care of Saturday in itself…
    64. JHO Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 12:50 pm e Whoa whoa whoa, I was unaware of the amanda factor! Looks like Matt Greg and Jeff are Gettin Drunk! As for the keg, don;t know? Need Laura to sit with us to get the discount? Lemme talk to her to see what time she is working, but we definitely would have to go afterwards. I think the 8th is more likely
    65. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 12:51 pm e Peel Pub, Peel Pub, Peel Pub, Peel Pub, Peel Pub
    66. JHO Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 1:08 pm e Matt are we getting stupid?
    67. Bunny Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 1:10 pm e I’m calling the Green Track suit. Yes…a nice lime green!
    68. JHO Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 1:19 pm e NICE, I will wear it to me meeting at school in the AM
    69. JHO Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 1:23 pm e DV: Debacle Rochester for the Rock game on the 15th
    70. EugHor Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 1:32 pm e Jeff, I don’t know how you can say you were unaware of the Amanda factor when she talked to you about on Saturday – before you were drunk – and you even said Laura might come because of you have your school formal that night downtown.
    71. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 1:55 pm e wHAT?! This Rock contigent is a DiSaStEr…when will White Jr be coming on board, we need to get ‘em before he turns to the dArKsIde!?$# Another G’Bomb Rock Game…Something tells me Debacle V or Debacle VI will include two G’Bombs.
    72. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 1:56 pm e Hopson, before we confirm the stupidness of Saturday, I need a little assurance here…visions of G’Bomb ‘04 are resurfacing…press hamming your car and missing 2/3rds of the game, is that thing of the past or this weekend?!
    73. EugHor Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 2:07 pm e By the way, Adam’s the one that invited Amanda.
    74. Adrock Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 2:14 pm e Euge how you gonna play a brother?
    75. Adrock Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 2:16 pm e Am I reading these posts correctly? Is Jeff attempting a round of Rock Stupidness followed by Peel Pub and then his MBA formal? That seems like a trifecta that even HoHo can’t pull off.
    76. Adrock Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 2:17 pm e Prediction: Jeff gets drunk and says something widly innapropriate to a faculty member.
    77. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 2:25 pm e Now have I actually confirmed my attendence for Saturday? I mean, tell me there’s an out-clause somewhere…first it was the G’Bomb Bombshell and now the Hopson MBA post-game exit?! The only excitement left for this Debacle will be watching the guys convert a Lacrosse Field to a Hockey rink…
    78. B to the Zerko Says:
      March 21st, 2006 at 2:35 pm e I’ll meet you on Sat…
    79. EugHor Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 2:40 pm e One question, how does Mattsanity think he’s got pull over Rock games when he’s not even a seaon ticket holder? I mean it’s great that’s he’s been coming and covering for Spences loss, but there are no assurances of a Rock win with hime in attendance – as seen when Adam missed the first two games and the Rock lost with Matt filling in.
    80. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 2:41 pm e Yeah I know the Bizerko loves a good Peel Pub…The Edwards/Bizerko combo knocked out the Toronto location some time ago. I just don’t have a Driveway for you to piss all over when you’re done!? What a jerk…
    81. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 2:43 pm e Quite Frankly, I don’t know if the Rock Season Tickets holders have much to boast about there Euge…If you ask me, losses are all around this latest debacle. And as seen by Reid’s faith in the Maple Leafs, I’m not sure the win/loss column accounts for anything…
    82. Adrock Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 2:45 pm e I wouldn’t put anything past Sean. I say when he finally makes his much anticipated return to the big smoke, he pisses all over your hallway. Some things never change.
    83. JHO Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 2:50 pm e AManda is always welcome….though Matt Greg and I might need to leave the 2 couples for the DRUNK ZONE. My Gbomb is not coming nor am I doing the MBA formal ….but we could go over to the westin harbour later in the evening and crash the party!
    84. Adrock Says:
      March 21st, 2006 at 2:51 pm e DONE.
    85. Adrock Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 2:51 pm e Do you think your profs will recognize you without your shirt on?
    86. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 2:52 pm e Always count on Hopson to find brightness…finally a glimmer of Saturday Hope!? Bizerko, complete the trifecta, hop on a Greyhound.
    87. The Sanity Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 2:52 pm e Peel Pub, Peel Pub, Peel Pub, Peel Pub, Peel Pub, Peel Pub, Peel Pub, Peel Pub…
    88. B to the Zerko Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 3:08 pm e I could go for a party crashing event..just run through the hallways sreaming, and waving your arms around, scaring the shit out of everyone…ahh, Bizerko…
    89. Sebby Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 4:08 pm e 88 posts by Tuesday. Looks like a 200 week is in the mix…
    90. Bunny Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 5:24 pm e Good thing it’s a quiet week at work. Gives me a chance to keep on top of these postings. Just wish I could participate a bit more.

March 21st, 2006 at 5:25 pm e I’m really thinking The Stampede is the location for DV. Lets get some confirmation. I’m ready to book a flight.
    92. Adrock Says:
March 21st, 2006 at 6:00 pm e I’ll book this week. I’m looking at an extended Calgary stay.
    93. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 7:58 am e …And Spezza didn’t even play last night fellas!? Now Reid, I hate to break to you, what with the 0 trades remaining from your roster, but Ryan Smith and those Oilers are as hot as the Canucks right now. His minus 28 didn’t help.
    94. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 8:53 am e Beauty Win by Liverpool yesterday Seb…Beauty. Riise, nice little tap in eh?
    95. Adrock Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 8:58 am e What happened to the good natured Peel Pub chant? I don’t know if I can take such early morning heckling. Especially from John Muckler’s cabana boy.
    96. B to the Zerko Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 9:15 am e Peel Pub, Peel Pub, Peel Pub….
    97. B to the Zerko Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 9:16 am e Out last night for the Sens – Spezza, Havlat, Fisher, Hasek, and then they lose Volchenkov…ugh..
    98. Bunny Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 9:18 am e Can anyone give me some advice on picking defensemen??? I’m just about ready to shoot mine and trade them for a water bottle. If it weren’t for them, I’d probably be in front of Sanity right now!
    99. Adrock Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 9:20 am e Mike James pops for 37. I only hope that Colangelo’s smart enough to not give him 5 years at 6 mil per. The Raps are just getting out of some ridiculous contracts. I say let James walk. The free agent marget this summer is so thin some team is going to throw a billion dollars at him.
    100. Adrock Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 9:20 am e I say pick up as many Kaberle’s as you can. The more the better.
    101. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 9:21 am e I did watch the 3rd period last night, if you can imagine my inner turmoil there – watching the Craptors or the Evil Empire also known as the Maple Leafs. So we can pretty much agree that Eric Lindros is/was/always has been a bust, but is Jason Allison carrying this team right now!? Its certainly not Ponicrapski, who happened to miss two empty netters…
    102. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 9:23 am e …great, Raptor talk. Open the door and I’ll run through. Yeah, I’d let Mike James walk too. Sure he’s good running the point and it would be nice to have him back, but there’s no way he amounts to anything of significance when we need a PG to help contend for anything other than 10th place.
    103. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 9:24 am e John Graeme might help your roster problems there Bunny…
    104. Adrock Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 9:24 am e I watched the whole game and didn’t realize Domi didn’t dress until I read it this morning.
    105. B to the Zerko Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 9:50 am e Alison has 61 points, so for the 1M they invested, good deal – but isn’t he something like -15?? How can you be that bad defensively when you haev 61pts..I agree with James, however what will Bosh think – Bosh and Charlie V for KG…
    106. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 10:14 am e Isn’t McCabe a minus player this year as well though? All Powerplay goals. Kevin Garnett to Toronto…that would make his situation identical to Minnesote (only good guy left). Raptors wouldn’t even offer a deal for him. He’ll go to Chicago in the Summer…courtesy of the Knicks of course. Chicage can give up the Knicks 1st Overall pick in the draft and a few young perimeter players like Deng or Gordon. That would help rebuild Minny and put Chicago over the edge…Imagine KG with Chandler and Hinrich? I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t happen…Actually, the only way it doesn’t happen this summer is if the Minny Owner fires EVERYONE there. The new GM would certainly not have the guns to accept the front office job AND trade the franchise player…hey wait, Babcock did it in Toronto and he does have Minny connections…could he…perhaps…
    107. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 10:16 am e Reid, how come you didn’t answer my late 90s Maple Leaf question yesterday. The other Rudy Rudiger, along with Kevyn Adams, who did everything for the team then got traded for a 16th Round pick (and I’m not referring to: Jason Smith, Steve Sullivan, Darby Henrickson, Freddy Modin or Mike Johnson – there was someone else!?)
    108. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 10:20 am e We should establish a Debacle Forecast. You know, something that can kind of outline our direction…all this Calgary talk, all this Beach talk, all this Peel Pub talk (oh wait, how’d that get in there!). Eventually we’ll have to make a decision. I say in the first week of May, we have plans for Debacle V in place. By May we could be looking at some serious changes for the nation, hopefully we’d be able to bank on a few things…like a kitchen being finished in Markham, Mrs Reid finally imploring Adam to find a job, and Hopson will be over the inevitable Rock Playoff Bust…
    109. B to the Zerko Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 10:31 am e Second week of may…ahh, the Peel Pub – will there be a fitness convention going on??
    110. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 10:34 am e Depends, are you coming?
    111. Adrock Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 10:46 am e It wasn’t Manderville, Eastwood, Larose, Krushelniski, Foligno, Bradley, Adams, McCauley, Daous, or Fergus?
    112. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 10:49 am e No, No, No…It was during the Cujo years. I’ll probably have to look it up on some godawful Leaf Nation website. Used to love Foligno though…Shall we discuss the McCauley, Boyes trades yet?
    113. B to the Zerko Says:
      March 22nd, 2006 at 10:51 am e There is a Leaf Nation website…there’s also a CowGirlNation website – check that one out..yikes…
    114. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 10:59 am e Just discovered on the Leaf Website for only $15 you can become a Leaf Nation Member!?# Yeah, it gets you a yearbook, a toque, and a membership card…apparently if I sign now I’ll save $35! Love the Leaf Nation!
    115. Sebby Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 11:28 am e Are you thinking of: Lou Franceschetti, Nick Kypreos, Marek Posmyk, Paul Healey, Jeff Farkas, Bob Wren, Gary Valk, Don MacLean???
    116. Sebby Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 11:29 am e No American pie jokes – Paul MacLean did play for the Leafs in the 2001-2002 cup playoffs…
    117. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 11:47 am e Almost forgot about the Tom Barrasso Maple Leaf era…how ’bout the Jerky Lumme days…I’m making great progress here.
    118. Sebby Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 12:38 pm e Tom Barrasso was a Maple Leaf? I can’t remember that – he was a Senator though. Fuhr-Potvin-Joseph-Belfour I thought. Can’t forget Damian Rhodes
    119. EugHor Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 1:37 pm e I don’t remember Barrasso either, but I know a Buffalo goalie came over in the Fuhr deal – I thought it was Puppa.
    120. EugHor Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 1:48 pm e I’m sorry, I retract my last statement, Barrasso did play 4 games for the leafs in 01/02 and Puppa did come over in the Fuhr trade in 92/93 and played 8 games total. Sorry for doubting you Matt.
    121. EugHor Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 1:50 pm e Matt, are you thinking of Sergei Berezin
    122. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 2:05 pm e I’m pretty sure it was Kevyn Adams and Adam Mair…they were the energy guys who amounted to nothing but a funny name-game status. During my searches today, though, I’m pretty satisfied with finding names such as Todd Warriner, Darby Hendrickson, Steve Thomas IV, and the token enforcers: Warren Rychel, Ken Baumgartner, Nick Kypreos…my favourite is Kent Manderville. One of my favourite Sega ‘96 guys of all-time. And he was just terrible…
    123. The Sanity Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 2:07 pm e Which leads to another thought, Eric Lindros was a 99 back in that game. He could plow through anyone and score at will with the Legion of Doom…What the Hell happened to him!? Bobby Clarke was right after all, Rod Brindamour the victim, and Eric Lindros the underachieving baby…thank god he signed with the Leafs this year. Eric the Saviour!#?
    124. JHO Says:
      March 22nd, 2006 at 3:36 pm e Jonus Hoglund
    125. Sebby Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 4:03 pm e Legion of Doom line. Looking back, now that we see that none of those guys will be Hall-Of-Famers (well maybe Lindros will be there for most concussions) look back and laugh. Lindros-Renberg-Leclair. Replaced to Lindros-Jones-Leclair.
    126. Adrock Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 9:33 pm e I can’t believe I missed this afternoon of all Leaf talk. I gotta stay home more. Let’s pick it up tomorrow guys. What about the Leaf’s french connection of Vinny D, Daniel Marois and some other frenchmen. Loved the Lou Francheghetti. One of the all time best.
    127. Adrock Says:
March 22nd, 2006 at 9:35 pm e Also who was the puck moving defencemen that came over from Winnipeg? Same era as Jamie McCowan, Bob Rouse, Todd Gill. I want to say Elliott something. I can see his bloody face.
    128. Sebby Says:
March 23rd, 2006 at 5:03 am e I think that you’re thinking of Dave Ellett. He came in this great trade: Dave Ellett & Paul Fenton for Ed Olczyk & Mark Osborne. And hey do you remember some of these great ones too: Randy Wood, Lucien Deblois, John McIntyre, Claude Loiselle? I think Loiselle played for the Leafs – the other ones I definitely know did.
    129. Sebby Says:
March 23rd, 2006 at 5:04 am e Wasn’t the blueline pairing Bob Rouse and Sylvain Lefebrvre? Jamie Macoun and Ric Nattress? Todd Gill and Larry Murphy? That’s quality…
